Acting: Liza in Out The Window (The Theatre Centre); Rachel in YICHUD (Seclusion) (Convergence/Passe Muraille/Magnetic North); Two seasons at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival (All’s Well That Ends Well, Agamemnon, Electra, The Flies, The Swanne – Part Two) as well as their Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training; numerous play-development workshops and appearances at local Toronto theatre festivals, including: The Edward Bond Festival, The Fringe, Next Stage, Lab Cab, Red and Ashkenaz.
Playwriting: ROSY (as part of AutoShow), I Grow Old (as part of The Gladstone Variations – Dora nomination; listed as one of NOW Magazine’s “Top Ten Toronto Productions of the Decade”); a re-imagining of the August Strindberg play The Father (Winnipeg Jewish Theatre/MTC’s 2011 Master Playwright’s Festival) and YICHUD (Seclusion), which is published by Playwrights Canada Press.
Producing: Julie is the Co-Artistic Director, with Aaron Willis, of Convergence Theatre, creators of the his plays YICHUD (Seclusion), The Gladstone Variations (listed as one of NOW Magazine’s “Top Ten Toronto Productions of the Decade”) and AutoShow. Convergence Theatre has been nominated for multiple Dora awards, and NOW Magazine has listed them as "The Best Site Specific Theatre Company in Toronto" and Aaron & Julie as "Toronto's Most Respected Theatre Duo".
Etc. Julie has been nominated for the K.M. Hunter Artist Award (OAC), is an active member of TAPA's Indie Caucus and Theatres Leading Change, and is part of the core organizing team of Toronto's Wrecking Ball.
